There are ten classic suites and four deluxe suites at Royal Zambezi Lodge. The classic suites are private units complete with shady verandas and en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and spacious showers. The large green canvas tents nestle under mature trees and each tent is positioned for maximum enjoyment of the surrounding views as well as complete privacy. The tents are impeccably furnished with a contemporary, understated elegance. The location for Royal Zambezi Lodge was chosen particularly for the wide variety of activities available including fishing, fly-fishing, game viewing, sunset river cruises, professionally guided canoeing trips, open vehicle guided drives, night drives and walking safaris. The Lower Zambezi offers one of the finest fresh water angling experiences in the world. The best time for Tiger Fish is during our hot months between September and March. All fishing is on a catch and release basis.
The Royal Zambezi Bush Spa draws inspiration from the natural beauty surrounding the lodge and is Zambia’s first and only bush spa.
